Music Promotion Network: Process Improvement & Scale
I worked as a consultant with a music promotion network to improve how it supported artists and delivered campaigns. The client is anonymous because the engagement is covered by an NDA.
I began by mapping every process, from the artist's first contact through to the campaign. That gave me a clear view of the work and where it became difficult to scale. I identified bottlenecks, unnecessary data storage and manual steps, then refined the processes into a more scalable solution.
The existing stack included ClickUp for project management, Shopify for the store, and multiple spreadsheets across Google Drive. I helped organise the spreadsheets and data, making them less cluttered and more secure. The business also used Spotify for Artists and social media. No new software was introduced; the changes improved how the existing tools were used.
Staff moved from spending time on paperwork towards monitoring quality, and the artist experience improved. At a six-month follow-up, the network was supporting nearly twice as many artists.
The engagement took place several years ago. This case shows my approach to operational improvement: understand the full process first, identify what slows it down, and make practical changes that the existing team and systems can support. It also demonstrates how process work can help a business serve more customers while improving the experience it delivers.

Under NDA: refined artist-to-campaign workflows within the existing stack. Six-month follow-up showed nearly twice as many artists supported.
