From Exhibit to Exciting

In this project, we were asked to find a local art exhibit and take photos of the location. After seeing and researching the exhibit, we built a new design system to create deliverables to promote the event. This included an environmental piece, a digital piece, and a print piece.

When designing the visual system for this exhibit, I focused on the artists and the artists’ content. The art was focused around nature, hence the name, so I decided to implement a soft and light color scheme, choosing one color per artist. I chose lines and dots as a visual element to indicate how all of the artists are connected and focusing on the same subject.
