An interactive storytelling experience created for Binance and FT Studio, designed to challenge some of the biggest misconceptions around cryptocurrency through animation, data visualisation and playful interaction.

I worked on the creative front-end development, taking the supplied designs, illustrations and motion assets and turning them into a responsive interactive experience.

Cryptocurrency can quickly become a complex and technical subject. The challenge was to present a series of common myths in a format that felt accessible and engaging, while giving each topic its own visual identity.

Rather than building a conventional long-form article, the experience was designed as a collection of interactive stories that users could explore individually.

Each myth became its own interactive moment, combining illustration, animated statistics, data visualisation and motion.

The main content sits within a structured grid that stays inside the browser viewport, moving away from the traditional long scrolling article. A compact navigation allows users to jump between myths and explore the story at their own pace.

This gave us room to treat each section differently while keeping the overall experience visually consistent.

Animation played an important role throughout the project.

I combined custom JavaScript and CSS animation with animated SVGs and Lottie assets to bring the supplied illustrations to life. Individual interactions and transitions were developed around the content of each myth rather than applying the same animation system everywhere.

The result is an experience where motion supports the storytelling rather than simply decorating the page.

Statistics and data were integrated directly into the storytelling using animated graphics and interactive visualisations.

Instead of presenting numbers as static charts, animation helps reveal the information progressively and gives users a clearer sense of what the data is communicating.

An experience built around a fixed viewport and rich interaction needs to behave very differently across screen sizes.

I adapted the layouts, animation and interactions for desktop and mobile, ensuring the creative concept remained intact while keeping the experience usable and responsive on smaller devices.

I handled the creative front-end development, working closely with the supplied design, illustration and motion assets to translate the creative direction into a finished browser experience.
