Case Study: Designing the UX/UI for an invoicing mobile app

Duetella is a revolutionary cloud-based invoicing mobile application that seeks to streamline and efficiently manage the payment process for transactions between small businesses and their clients. Duetella offers user-friendly interfaces and experiences that make it easy for small businesses and contractors to manage their invoices and payments. It also empowers them to send payment reminders while on the move.

Based on exploratory market research, we learned that small businesses and independent contractors (our primary audience) lack defined processes for managing late invoice payments from customers or clients. Existing invoicing methods, they claim, are relatively expensive to implement and complicated to use, making it difficult for them to keep track of pending payments.

Given these findings, we sought to develop a mobile-first solution that helps small business owners, independent contractors, and freelancers efficiently track pending payments and due invoices for services completed or items purchased. Duetella eliminates the time-consuming process of manually creating invoices, tracking pending transactions, and sending payment reminders.
