Most AI design tools hand you a picture. Lindi starts one step earlier: you describe the product, it maps the screens, flows and features as a mindmap, and then draws a mockup for each screen from that map.
The part that matters
A generated mockup is only useful if a designer can keep working on it. So the export is the product: real frames and editable layers that open in Figma, not a flat image to redraw.
I worked on Lindi as one of the engineers on the team, as part of Nacew.
Role: embedded engineer in the product team
Prompt to mindmap to mockups
Export to editable Figma frames
Stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
Lindi today
The product has since grown into Lindi Code: connect a repo or project folder, keep designing on the canvas, and code with Lindi Code or any other coding agent.
