As I was creating these wallpapers I really wanted to tap into honestly all the types of autumn I really love. We have some quotes, we have pumpkins and gorgeous leaves, there is one with the water in it, beautiful clouds, and some amazingly moody orange tones. Here in southern California, we don’t really get a lot of deep rich colors from most of our trees. Que the typical blogger “when I was growing up” story, in my childhood home we had a wonderful birch tree that was a one off stand alone tree. Every year in July to August I would look high in the sky to find the tiniest hints fall was on the horizon. By October we would start to see the pretty deep gold and light orange hues taking over the tree. Leaving our gorgeous birch dressed in red and brown by the holidays. I truly believe that my love for autumn really sparked there. Our instances of autumn weren’t a lot but when they did happen they were something to be savored. Nowadays autumn has taken on a more coastal approach which is just as beautiful.
