MID AUTO is an established automotive company with more than 30 years of expertise in automatic transmission remanufacturing, parts distribution, and advanced diagnostics.
The goal was bigger than a logo or a website redesign. We built the brand identity and complete e-commerce experience from scratch — translating complex automotive engineering into a digital system that professionals and individual customers could actually navigate, understand, and trust.
Brand identity. Logo design. Art direction. UX/UI design. E-commerce website. Digital design system.
The Tension
Automatic transmissions are complex.
Thousands of parts, technical specifications, compatibility requirements, diagnostics, and engineering decisions sit behind what should ultimately feel like a simple customer journey.
MID AUTO needed to communicate decades of technical authority without making the digital experience feel complicated.
The challenge was to turn engineering complexity into commercial clarity.
The brand had to feel powerful enough for B2B customers and professional workshops, but intuitive enough for someone simply looking for the right transmission part.
The Decision
We started from the foundation rather than the interface.
The brand identity was designed around precision, mechanical movement, and continuous performance. A dynamic angular symbol became the central mark — referencing mechanical components, torque, motion, and the constant transfer of power.
The visual language followed.
Geometric structures, technical grids, high-contrast dark surfaces, and electric blue accents create an industrial character without falling into the usual automotive clichés.
The identity became the visual foundation for the entire digital experience.
Brand first. Digital system second.
The System
The MID AUTO logo design and visual identity are built around a controlled geometric system.
Dark backgrounds create weight and authority. Electric blue introduces energy and digital precision. Blueprint-inspired layouts reference engineering documentation and technical schematics without literally reproducing them.
Typography and spacing remain highly structured, allowing dense technical information to feel organized rather than overwhelming.
The result is a modern automotive brand identity that communicates expertise through the system itself — not through decorative automotive imagery.
The E-Commerce Experience
The website was designed and built from zero, turning the new identity into a complete e-commerce ecosystem.
The challenge wasn't simply to make an automotive website look modern. It was to make a technically complicated catalog commercially usable.
Product categories, transmission components, specifications, compatibility information, diagnostics, and purchasing flows were organized into a clear information architecture.
The UX/UI system was designed around one principle:
less guesswork, more certainty.
From product discovery to technical details and checkout, every interaction was designed to help customers move confidently from a technical question to the right solution.
The Digital System
The same visual language runs through the entire experience.
Blueprint-inspired grids structure product catalogs. Angular graphic elements create continuity between brand and interface. Dark UI surfaces establish hierarchy, while electric blue highlights important actions and states.
The result is a unified brand identity + UX/UI + e-commerce design system, rather than a website that simply happens to use the company's logo.
The brand works across desktop, mobile, product pages, catalogs, B2B workflows, and customer-facing communication.
The Impact
MID AUTO went from an established automotive operation to a complete digital brand and e-commerce experience designed from the ground up.
The project combined branding, logo design, visual identity, UX design, UI design, e-commerce architecture, and digital product design into one coherent system.
30 years of mechanical expertise became a digital experience built for the next generation of automotive commerce.
The Takeaway.
Complex engineering doesn't have to create a complicated experience.
