This project was completed over an 8 week period for the Nights and Weekends hackathon on buildspace. Plaited is an app that combines recipe generation with grocery delivery and is powered by AI. Users can generate customized recipes that adhere to their diet and nutritional preferences, and have all of the recipe ingredients delivered directly to them.

People spend too much time and money at the grocery store. They shop inefficiently, overspend on items they do not need, and struggle to craft well balanced meals. Much of the food purchased either goes to waste, or they are missing ingredients to compose a recipe.

Plaited helps users grocery shop, craft well-balanced meals, and stick to their grocery budget by eliminating the following problems:
