Odyseau : A Creative Pitch Deck for a Niche Fragrance Brand

About the Project

Odyseau is a niche fragrance startup built around the idea of scent as a personal journey — blending “Odyssey” and “Eau” to evoke exploration, uniqueness, courage, and confidence. The goal was to design a 23-slide investor pitch deck that visually captures the brand’s luxury identity and emotional narrative, engaging investors and strategic partners.
The deck needed to go beyond typical corporate slides — it had to feel like the brand itself: evocative, elegant, and memorable.

The Problem

Pitch decks for emotional, sensory products like fragrances often fall into two traps:
Overly clinical or data-heavy designs that fail to convey the brand’s soul
Generic investor layouts that don’t reflect the product experience
Investors reviewing pitch decks for consumer brands expect both clarity and aesthetic resonance. The challenge was to balance strategic business storytelling with a visual language that feels luxurious and adventurous — much like the fragrances Odyseau creates.

The Goal

Design a visually stunning, investor-ready pitch deck that:
Reflects Odyseau’s core values: exploration, adventure, uniqueness, confidence
Translates the intangible world of scent into a compelling visual narrative
Keeps investors engaged without sacrificing clarity
Creates a reusable system for future presentations

My Role

As the Lead Presentation Designer, I was responsible for:
UX strategy and slide structure
Visual design language and aesthetic direction
Layout, typography, and color system
Crafting slides that work with subtle motion
Ensuring investor clarity without visual clutter

Design Approach

I approached the deck like a brand story, not a data dump.
Core principles:
Emotion first: luxury tones and refined typography set the mood
Narrative flow: each slide feels like a chapter in a scent journey
Investor clarity: data and strategy are presented without overwhelming visuals
Visual harmony: consistent spacing, icons, and grids for a polished finish
The result is a deck that feels as intentional and crafted as Odyseau’s fragrances.

Key Elements Designed

Brand expression through rich color palettes and cinematic layouts
Elegant typography with purposeful hierarchy
Slide templates that balance copy and imagery
Visual metaphors for emotional resonance
Motion-ready layouts adaptable for animated transitions
The deck is also structured for scalability, enabling future updates or versions seamlessly.
