Digital Experience Platform for textme.bio

When I was managing a boutique Toronto digital marketing agency there was a technology shift happening in digital marketing and automations.

Marketing was becoming omnichannel, the API economy was booming, JAMSTACK was considered an alternative, and data was everywhere. But turning data into new experiences and more value for customers every month, isn't the standard to this day.

I remember 5 years ago when I was pioneering the low code/no code space, there was a tool I bumped into called Builder.io known as being the 1st drag and drop CMS tool for React. I was an early adopter, and let's just say innovators recognize innovators.

Fast forward to now, Builder.io is a one-of-a-kind DXP (digital experience platform) enabling marketing and sales to test and personalize offers, and optimize experiences on apps and sites using Figma design systems and any frontend and backend tech stack. Since then, they've created innovative open source projects like Qwik, Partytown, Mitosis, and Visual Copilot Figma Plugin.

We built textme.bio on top of Builder so that we could bring our Figma prototypes to life, connect our components and pages to a Buildship.com backend, and get feedback the market textme.bio was going after. Combining Buildship and Builder enabled textme.bio to differentiate from a creator economy offer to a coach and consultant offer. Testing the offer from digital traffic to in-person events.

Textme.bio is an all-in-one text community, shop, and bio for coaches and consultants looking to 10X their growth and keep their personal touch.

The project also required us to host MedusaJS, Meilisearch, and Supertokens on Railway then connect it to our Buildship where we used it to create instant search, text to unlock, cart upsells, cross-sells, and 1-click checkout to increase average order value, recurring revenue, and conversion rates. Features that don't exist in this category.

Leveraging Builder and Buildship enabled textme.bio to test the offer and optimize it to stand out from the competitive landscape. Learning key problems to solve, like how coaches and consultants aren't investing in memberships because how difficult it is to fulfill and manage despite the ROI of recurring revenue. And how they aren't leveraging search to increase conversions on their storefront like e-commerce companies do.

We got the textme.bio offer into the hands of different target customers from creator economy conferences, to digital ads, to the titans of the alternative education industry, to the #1 fastest growing coaching company. Builder and Buildship enabled textme.bio to adapt and optimize after each time customers would try it.

However, converting Figma Components to Qwik Components in Builder isn't supported by their AI Visual Copilot yet, so we had to pioneer our own AI design to code workflow using AutoHTML and Claude AI.

This new workflow enabled textme.bio to convert design systems from Antd, to DaisyUI, to a custom design system directly into Builder.

Integrating custom targeting with custom authentication in Builder also enabled textme.bio create features that enabled coaches and consultants to 3x their lead generation, and enable personalization.
