Design of a Timeless Occasion Wear Collection

Aroma 30 is a made-to-measure brand focused on timeless items manufactured in Rome. As the designer and founder, I oversee every stage, from initial concept to the final product and its communication. This hands-on approach ensures a cohesive and considered outcome.

This project involved the focused design and development of distinct pieces tailored for special occasions. My core approach centered on draped construction, leveraging ethereal fabrics to create a visually striking and memorable impact. I strategically selected lightweight materials and incorporated sequins to achieve a timeless and sophisticated aesthetic.

Research of Inspiring Concept Images: I initiated the project with thorough research to establish a strong and original concept, driven by the exploration of a fresh and relevant summer color palette.

Cohesive Collection Design: The design process began with a hands-on approach, developing draped details and refining the fit directly on the mannequin. These explorations were then translated into detailed hand sketches, providing a clear and comprehensive visualization of the complete collection.

Fabric Research and Sourcing: A critical stage involved in-depth research and careful selection of specialized fabrics. This led to the strategic choice of tulle, viscose jersey, and sequin fabrics, chosen for their ability to enhance the design concepts and meet the project's aesthetic goals.

Sample Process for Optimal Fit: Significant attention was dedicated to the sample stage to rigorously refine and achieve the optimal fit for each garment. This focus on precision ensures a modern and elegant silhouette that meets high standards of quality and wearability.

Project Scope: My responsibilities for this project encompassed the full spectrum of design and development: Garment Design, comprehensive Research and Mood Board creation, strategic Fabrics Selection, meticulous Fitting Trials, focused Art Direction, and contribution to Brand Identity development.
