Mei L’ange, a New York-based swimwear label, embodies a philosophy of timeless style infused with an elegant touch. Their collections offer a modern, high-quality aesthetic for women, meticulously crafted with exceptional fabrics and refined finishings.

For Mei L’ange, my design approach centered on creating a curated selection of swimwear that seamlessly blends sophisticated style with unique construction details. I shaped the collection's design language through the thoughtful incorporation of subtle yet impactful elements such as fabric gathering, strategically placed cut-outs, and a focus on achieving the perfect fit.

Development of inspiration Mood Board : Grounded in Mei L’ange's core aesthetic, I initiated the design process by developing a comprehensive concept mood board to define the key elements of the collection, encompassing its overall vibe, desired fit, distinctive design details, and color palette.

Development of concept sketches: With the concept mood board serving as a translation of the brand's vision, I progressed to the development of detailed concept sketches. These drawings strategically balanced feminine elegance with a nuanced modern sensibility, establishing a unique aesthetic for the entire collection.

Development of Tech Packs : I developed comprehensive tech packs, placing particular attention on facilitating a seamless communication with the manufacturer. This approach ensured the achievement of the perfect fit and the accurate creation of samples that reflected the design intent.

Fabrics Suggestion: I provided a selection of swimwear fabrics chosen to deliver the essential qualities of a high-quality product: superior UV protection, breathability, exceptional comfort, and a luxurious tactile experience.
