The Royal Sweet Bakes and Restaurant & Event Caterers project was one of the most enjoyable and challenging works I have done in social media graphic design. They are a business that offers everything from delicious baked goods to amazing catering services for events, along with a restaurant serving tasty dishes. Their request was simple – they wanted to create a strong presence on social media that would highlight all their services and attract more customers.

The first thing I did was meet their team to understand their vision. They wanted their social media to look colourful, inviting, and professional, showing that they can handle everything from birthday cakes to grand weddings. I also visited their restaurant and bakery to see the atmosphere, taste their food, and capture the essence of their business.

After this, I started brainstorming ideas for their designs. The challenge here was that they had so many different services, so I had to make sure all the designs looked connected but also unique for each category. For example, the graphics for their cakes were playful and bright with pastel shades, while the catering designs had more formal and elegant tones to attract people planning big events.

I created a content plan that included posts about their restaurant's daily specials, new baked items, catering success stories, and customer testimonials. To make the posts more engaging, I used a mix of photos, creative layouts, and illustrations. For special promotions, like festival offers or custom wedding cakes, I designed bold and colourful banners that immediately caught attention.

One of the most memorable parts of this project was designing a series of posts for a big wedding they catered. I used a gold and red theme to reflect the grandeur of Indian weddings and included pictures of their beautifully presented food. The posts became very popular, and people started enquiring about their services for weddings.

There were some challenges too. For example, sometimes the team couldn’t provide high-quality photos, so I had to edit the pictures a lot to make them look good. But the results were worth it. The engagement on their social media accounts improved a lot, and their customer base grew steadily.

This project was special to me because it wasn’t just about designing; it was about telling the story of a passionate team who put their heart into their food and services. Seeing their excitement when the designs went live and brought real results made all the effort worth it.
