The Al Rumman Restaurant social media graphic design project was a very exciting experience for me. Al Rumman is a restaurant known for its traditional and authentic dishes, and they wanted to bring this rich culture and flavours into their social media presence. The goal was to make their brand more attractive and connect with the audience online, especially food lovers.

When I first got the project, I had a long discussion with their team. They explained how they wanted the designs to look modern but also show the essence of their heritage. So, I started researching their menu, the interior of the restaurant, and even the story behind the name “Al Rumman” (which means pomegranate). This gave me the idea to use pomegranate-inspired colours like deep reds and fresh greens in the design.

Next, I started creating a series of posts for their social media. Each post had a different focus. Some showcased their signature dishes, while others highlighted customer reviews, special offers, and behind-the-scenes stories from their kitchen. I used high-quality food photos, minimal icons, and elegant typography to keep the designs clean but eye-catching.

One of the challenges was to balance the traditional and modern feel in the graphics. To solve this, I mixed traditional patterns and textures as backgrounds with stylish fonts and layouts. For example, for a post about their biryani, I used golden tones and intricate borders to give a premium look.

The feedback from their team was very positive. They liked how the designs made their dishes look more tempting and premium. After we started posting the designs, the engagement on their social media improved a lot. Customers started tagging their friends and sharing posts, and the restaurant even reported an increase in table bookings during promotions.

Overall, this project was not only a chance to showcase my design skills but also to help a local restaurant grow. It felt good to know that my work made a real difference to their business.
