Modern Identity for an Exclusive Wealth Management Firm

Novatera is a private wealth management firm focused on the highest level of custom financial planning and multi-generational wealth management. The company needed a completely new identity to clearly show its focus on exclusivity, trust, and lasting value for ultra-high networth clients.
The main challenge was making the brand look reliable and established (institutional credibility) while also feeling modern and elegant. The visual style had to work perfectly everywhere from private printed reports to secure digital platforms.
My goal was to build a system that was as carefully planned as the firm’s services Refined, Lasting, and Discerning.

Approach

I rethought the brand identity based on Novatera's two key strengths: quiet authority and custom service, blending classic stability with modern accuracy. Every design choice from colors to fonts and images was driven by the brand's core values: Exclusivity, Legacy, and Trust.

Visual Identity

The Wordmark uses the Times typeface. I chose this font because it immediately shows serious reputation and classic authority, grounding the brand in trust.

Photography & Brand Elements

I put together a large library of images to make the visual style consistent everywhere. The way I directed the photography highlights trust, lasting value, and discretion. It pairs carefully designed buildings with wide, lush landscapes to show how solid and extensive the firm's reach is.
The system uses two main types of images:
Architectural Geometry & Established Landscapes: These are rich, high-quality images used as elegant backgrounds for private reports, presentations, and online portals. They focus on things that are well-built and look permanent.
Legacy Hero Imagery: These are expressive visuals that show privacy, multi-generational lasting value, and quiet confidence within exclusive environments.
I wrote the complete brand guidelines to record the identity, detailing:
How to correctly use the logo, the color palette, and the Times/Avenir font system.
Specific rules for layout grids and spacing that use plenty of empty space (negative space) to make documents look balanced and high-end.
How to layer the monogram across different materials so it’s a subtle but recognizable sign of the brand.
How to use soft, subtle color gradients (using Deep Olive and Warm Stone) to give digital designs depth.
A custom icon library for clear communication of services like trust and estate planning.
I designed every part of the identity to be discreet, easy to use at different scales, and long-lasting, allowing the brand to communicate its unique, custom value with strong confidence.

The Outcome

The resulting identity system gives NovaTera a cohesive, elevated, and enduring visual presence that communicates with exclusive authority across every platform.
From bespoke client documentation to secure digital platforms, the refreshed brand projects unwavering stability, deep discretion, and forward-looking sophistication positioning NovaTera as the definitive steward for the world's most enduring wealth.
The identity that I designed ensures that every touchpoint resonates with the quiet confidence and customized service expected by the ultra-high networth clientele.
