BoomPop: Blog + Editorial Content

Andrea

Andrea DiNardo

Writing with the same energy as a great party: human, a little messy, actually fun.

Project Summary

BoomPop is a people-first, AI-powered event planning platform that helps teams plan smarter—and have more fun doing it. Their brand voice had recently evolved to reflect more of their spark, personality, and POV—but their blog hadn’t caught up. I helped translate that refreshed tone into content people actually want to stop and read.

My Role

I support BoomPop’s marketing team with copywriting and content strategy—crafting blog posts, newsletters, and concepts that channel their new tone of voice.
Highlights:
Write blog content that feels more like a conversation than a campaign
Capture BoomPop’s new voice—sharp, friendly, slightly feral (in a good way)
Collaborate with the internal team to pitch, shape, and polish editorial ideas
Weave brand POV and personality into topics ranging from burnout to offsite logistics

Editorial Spotlight

An ode to the unsung hero behind every great event.

We plan a lot of events. Parties. Offsites. (“Strategic gatherings,” if you want to be corporate about it). So, we think a lot about vibes. About how dimming the lights after dinner changes the energy. How a surprise ice cream on a Tuesday can heal something in your soul. How one handwritten name card can make someone feel like the main character.

Less yawn. More “hell yes.” A smarter approach to sales kickoffs.

Yeah, your kickoffs are probably missing something, but it’s not another deck.

How to stay creative (and plan a killer event) when you’re over it.

Booking a vacation? Dreamy. Planning your third company event this year? About as fun as untangling last year’s Christmas lights. Event planning is a strange beast—it’s equal parts spreadsheet slinging, timeline Tetris, and budget (mental) breakdowns. And somehow, on top of all that, you’re expected to “wow” with a brand-new idea every single time. Spoiler: that’s exhausting.
