Reimagining Act + Acre

Project Overview

Act + Acre had the science and the story. Their store told neither. The old site treated a premium, clinically backed haircare line like a flat catalog, leaving the brand's biggest advantages, results and credibility, buried. They needed a storefront that blended science, education, and product discovery without burying the shopper in it.

What I Did

We rebuilt the store on Shopify's Dawn theme and the OS 2.0 framework, using custom sections and reusable templates to bring clarity and edge to every touchpoint from homepage to PDP. The rebuild was structured so the brand could keep telling its story after we left. Editable, modular, and built to grow with the product line.

Highlights

Modular Homepage: Product highlights paired with a quiz CTA that routes shoppers toward the right regimen instead of leaving them to guess.
Science and Story Sections: Dedicated education blocks that turn Act + Acre's clinical credibility into something a shopper actually reads and believes.
Conversion-Built PDPs: Before and after results, subscription options, and ingredient breakdowns, sequenced to answer the questions that stall a purchase.
Editorial Mobile-First Design: A clean, editorial structure designed for mobile first, where most of the traffic and most of the hesitation actually lives. Fully Editable Templates: Reusable templates the internal marketing team can run themselves, so the site keeps evolving without a developer on call.

Outcome

A scalable storefront rooted in clarity and trust, built to grow with the brand's product line and customer base. Act + Acre's science and story finally lead the experience instead of hiding behind it, giving the brand a foundation that sells the way the product deserves.
