Context

I had the opportunity to build out a future state vision for Inspirato, looking at it through the lens of improving the UX. The design sprint took into account months of research, executive feedback to build out the vision, and getting the green light from stakeholders before diving into the full design process.
While it was a proof of concept and a couple week turnaround, we ensured it was still intentional and well thought-out with the user and business needs.

Problems

Research was conducted and presented to us at the start of the project which took into account years of workshops, member interviews, stakeholder conversations, and customer insights. We listed out the main problems that were prioritized and aligned them with business needs:
From this research, I could then host a workshop where we could start ideating on those problems we found.

Early Wireframes

Final solutions

After early iterations of wireframes and talking through potential solutions to the problems, it was time to build out a proof of concept.
Due to the pressed timeline and need to iterate quickly, we needed to get ideas out and have something for stakeholders to reply to. This proof of concept was intended to show high fidelity mockups solving the business and user problems, and get stakeholders on board to see the future vision. That is exactly what was presented.
Another consideration of the design process was building designs that would reflect the story we were trying to tell of solving the user needs we had pinpointed. We needed to make sure we were spending time on the right things so building one flow of this users journey was more important than building every scenario possible.

Outcome & Results

We got approval of the proof of concept and the green light to build out the full design specs and work with technology to scope the work to a 12 month vision.
Below are some screenshots from feedback from the stakeholders during and after the presentation.
