Vandana Shah is a renowned celebrity family lawyer with significant media presence and an extensive legal track record. Despite her stature, her existing website lacked professionalism, structure, and visual clarity. It failed to communicate her authority, credibility, and expertise—appearing cluttered, outdated, and disconnected from the seriousness of her profession.

This concept redesign was created to demonstrate how her digital presence could look—clean, credible, and trustworthy—reflecting the sophistication and expertise she brings to her legal practice.

I designed a minimal, serious, and professional website in Figma, grounded in research and legal industry standards. The aim was to reimagine her brand presence with better hierarchy, clearer communication, and a user-focused experience.

The objectives of this project were to:

Establish a credible, authoritative digital identity

Present legal services clearly and professionally

Improve trust-building through structure and hierarchy

Reflect the seriousness of legal services without feeling outdated

Introduce clarity and purpose through simplified layouts

Create a strong first impression for prospective clients

The tone of the redesign was kept minimal, restrained, and sophisticated—aligned with modern legal brands. High contrast, dark–light color palettes were used to convey seriousness, stability, and professionalism while maintaining visual clarity.

The entire approach focused on reorganizing content, improving trust signals, and streamlining navigation so visitors feel informed, confident, and guided.

Instead of relying solely on scattered press clippings (as seen on the current website), I restructured authority-building elements into clear, meaningful numerical stats as numbers communicate credibility instantly, helping users understand the scale of her achievements at a glance.

I redesigned the services section with:

Clear, modern iconography

Cleaner layout

Better categorization

This ensures users instantly understand her areas of practice without confusion.

Planned future scope included making each service card clickable, leading to dedicated service pages, each equipped with its own consultation form for a more streamlined, service-specific flow.

The existing site only had a generic contact form, making consultations harder to initiate.

In the redesign, I introduced a Book a Consultation button prominently in the hero and across key sections, turning the site into a more direct client acquisition tool.

Key decisions included:

Replacing ambiguous media references with meaningful stats

Introducing a testimonial section for added trust

Improving page distinction (Home vs About vs Media)

Removing unnecessary links and clutter

Ensuring a smooth, minimal visual hierarchy that professionals expect

The layout follows a familiar, corporate-inspired structure to ensure instant trust and zero cognitive fatigue for users needing legal help.

Before designing, I studied modern lawyer websites, researched Dribbble, Behance, and Pinterest, creating a moodboard that guided:

Serif + sans-serif pairing

High-contrast color palette

Minimalist layout

Clean grid-based composition

This helped define a digital presence that feels serious, trustworthy, and suitable for a high-profile legal practitioner.
