Affluence - UX/UI Design

That was the case with Affluence. I met Dharshan on Contra and we immediately connected. His idea felt genuinely interesting: helping people treat their time with the same respect they usually give to their money.

Affluence was never meant to be just another focus app. It needed a point of view, a bit of attitude, and a strong personality. Inspired by Ugly Cash, the goal was to create something that felt memorable, playful, and different from the usual productivity tools.

Starting from the initial designs, my role was to improve the UX and shape the product into something more distinctive. I worked across the app experience, refining flows, strengthening the visual direction, and helping the product feel more ownable and engaging. And honestly, I think we got there.

This was one of the most fun app projects I have worked on in a long time. Dharshan gave me a brief and few references, then trusted me to explore, suggest, and push ideas further. Very quickly, the relationship became more than just a client gig. It felt like two founders thinking through the same product together.
