A dynamic, conversion-focused onboarding for Anchor
I redesigned the onboarding experience for Anchor to make the first session feel more polished, guided, and easier to complete.
The goal was to introduce the app clearly, help users personalize their planning setup, and reduce drop-off across the flow.
I started by exploring a more dynamic onboarding using Rive, then created a second A/B test version built around an inverted sheet interaction. The app is first presented in a clean white state, then the sheet moves from bottom to top, guiding users into a multi-step setup flow.
Each step was designed to be simple, trackable, and optimized for completion. I focused on reducing friction, keeping momentum high, and making every interaction feel soft and native.
Motion was a key part of the experience, with spring animations and subtle Rive effects used throughout to make the flow feel more alive without distracting from the setup.
