Simplifying ESG data management & reporting experience for corporates

TT GREEN, InnoBlock’s ESG reporting solution, simplifies complex data management for corporates by unifying fragmented processes into a single platform. Designed to automate data collection, analysis, and compliance reporting, the platform empowers stakeholders to focus on strategic decision-making.

Starting from concept, I designed the entire platform, transforming manual processes into standardized reporting frameworks that facilitate stakeholder collaboration and ensure accurate, comparable ESG data.

The Challenge

“How might we simplify ESG reporting for enterprises battling data chaos?”

Manual inefficiencies: Teams wasted hours aggregating data from siloed departments and suppliers.

Compliance complexity: Users struggled with evolving standards (e.g., GRI, SASB) and inconsistent metrics.

Low stakeholder trust: Auditors questioned data accuracy; suppliers avoided participation.

The Process

1.Stakeholder Collaboration & ESG Alignment

Partnered with ESG experts WWF & Deloittle, product owners, to map compliance requirements and carbon accounting best practices.

Conducted user research with sustainability teams, auditors, and potential users to align workflows with real-world needs.

Result: Platform architecture aligned with global standards, facilitating industry-wide adoption. TT GREEN is certified as an official GRI (a globally recognized ESG reporting standard) Software & Tools Partner.

2. Centralized Data Ecosystem

A centralised data repository for ESG data (energy, HR, compliance) was designed, slashing input errors and enabling seamless, up-to-date collaboration across departments and locations, eliminating fragmented spreadsheets.

Integrated blockchain audit trails to build transparency and auditor trust.

Impact: Eliminated data fragmentation, reducing input errors and aggregation time by 65%.

3.AI-Powered ESG Reporting

Designed an AI-powered report editor that automatically fills in quantitative sections, while the AI Assistant aids with qualitative content in line with global standards(GRI,IFRS, HKEx).

Impact: Cut report drafting time by 50%, allowing teams to focus on strategic analysis.

4.Interactive Dashboards & ESG Goal Tracking Tool for Real-Time Insights

Designed interactive dashboards to visualize key ESG metrics (Scope 1-3 emissions, energy usage, etc.) in real-time, with drill-down functionality for granular insights.

The integrated ESG goal-tracking tool automatically monitors progress and populates users' ESG reports.

Impact: Enabled faster decision-making through instant data aggregation for internal analysis and external disclosures.
