KURO Delivery Service is a fictional logistics brand created as a design exploration to merge Japanese retro aesthetics with modern delivery culture. The concept of “KURO”—meaning “black” in Japanese—represents speed, precision, and reliability, while visually referencing the classic Japanese courier style and anime-inspired graphics from the 80s–90s era.
In today’s fast-paced delivery landscape, most courier brands tend to rely on generic, minimal design systems that prioritize function over personality. Through this project, we wanted to reimagine how a delivery service could stand out visually by bringing storytelling and character back into the brand. The idea was to create a unique and memorable visual universe where efficiency meets culture and fun.
The goal of KURO Delivery Service was to design a complete visual identity system that blends retro Japanese pop culture with modern simplicity. From the logo, mascot, and typography to the overall color and graphic direction, every element was made to convey energy, speed, and friendliness. The mascot itself embodies the spirit of the brand — loyal, fast, and always ready to deliver with personality.
