The prediction interaction was the most critical screen in the app, the action every user completes before every match. I tested multiple input patterns: sliders, numpad entry, tap-to-increment buttons, and swipe gestures. Tap-to-increment (plus and minus buttons per team) won on speed and accuracy. I designed the prediction card to show the match context (teams, kickoff time, competition badge), the user’s current prediction, the contest they’re entering, and a one-tap
confirm, all within a single screen. The entire flow from fixture selection
to confirmed prediction was designed to take under 30 seconds.
