Plot is a micro-winery in BC’s Okanagan Valley with no estate, no tasting room, and no permanent vineyard. But that’s precisely what makes it different. ‍ Tasked with naming, branding, and pretty much everything except the winemaking, I became an actual partner in the business – directly involved in deeper sales and marketing over 5 years, not to mention many long days bottling and shipping orders. ‍ The name “Plot” speaks to the grape sourcing. With no fixed vineyard other than a couple acres of the winemaker, grapes are sourced from a rotating list of partner growers — a common industry practice, but one most brands downplay. Plot proudly centers it.
Plot has been featured in numerous publications, including The Dieline, Elle Magazine, Wine Enthusiast, and LSN Global
To keep it short, I was involved in every aspect of the business, and it allowed me to gain very valuable, hands-on experience in running not only a winery, but an ecomm,B2C + B2B focused company. Even though the visuals are the most exciting part of this project, the open rate on my email marketing is one of the highest (and unseen) achievements. It even got featured by Really Good Emails

Custom wine club materials and a design system was developed that emphasizes Plot's 'by-hand' approach to everything. This reel went on to go viral with 160K organic views.
