ViDA Studio created a website for Jidi Culture last year, providing a platform for Jidi Culture's Story Village.

The goal was to increase the online visibility of Jidi Culture's Story Village.

Our aim was to make Jidi Culture's Story Village more visible to a wider audience on the internet.

Loading Animation

Due to the numerous images that need to be loaded on the Story Village's webpage, we designed a loading animation to keep users engaged while the page loads.

The animation design was inspired by the abstract imagery of wind, as requested by the client.

First Screen Animation

Jidi Culture is working on an exciting large-scale project to create a Story Village in Hualien. Knowing about this project, we decided it would be the best choice to feature it as the first impression on the website.

We wrapped the concept of the Story Village as a gift, giving users a sense of unboxing a story as they scroll down.

The homepage animation for Jidi Culture is designed to captivate and inform users right from the start.

Visually Engaging and Story-Driven Images

On the original website, Jidi Culture featured a vibrant image of elders teaching traditional skills to the younger generation.

To convey the message of cultural heritage while maintaining visual richness, I used an irregular black-and-white filter over the image.

This irregular filter changes as users scroll, while the underlying image remains constant.

Jidi Culture is an illustration and music company focused on ethnic culture and issues, with their office located by the Pacific Ocean. They continually infuse warmth and blessings into the stories of Indigenous past and future in Hualien with gentle yet resilient efforts.
