Axure: Portfolio and Agency Website Design

Overview

Axure is a portfolio website template for creative agencies, design studios and freelance designers. I designed it in Figma, then built production versions in Webflow and Framer. It includes 14 pages, a filterable works grid, a dedicated process page and a CMS blog.

The Challenge

Clients judge a design studio in seconds, and most portfolio sites waste that moment on a slogan. The work is buried under decoration, case studies show a single hero image with no story, and nothing explains how a project actually runs. A prospect leaves unsure what working together would look like.

The Approach

I kept the frame quiet so the work carries the page. Wide negative space, restrained color and confident type let project photography lead. Each case study opens with a wide project image, then a short narrative, then the result.
I also gave the studio's method its own page. "Our Process" walks from discovery to delivery step by step, which answers the question most agency sites skip: how will this project run?

Key Features

Compact gradient hero: a one-line value proposition and a single call to action, then straight into the work.
Filterable works grid: CMS-driven, so branding, product and web projects can be separated in one view.
Process page: a clear, step-by-step workflow that builds confidence before the first call.
About page: mission, studio story, team grid and a short "How We Work" block.
Testimonials linked to work: each quote can connect to its case study, turning praise into proof.
CMS blog with categories: design notes and client stories publish without opening the Designer.

Pages

Home, About, Our Process, Works Grid, Blog and Contact, plus CMS templates for work items, blog posts and blog categories. Utility pages cover the style guide, instructions, license, changelog and a custom 404.

Build Notes

The Webflow version uses global classes and variables for fast rebranding, and the Framer version mirrors the same structure with reusable components. Both were tested on desktop, tablet and mobile.

Design studios lose clients when the work is buried under decoration and the process is never explained. I designed and built Axure in Webflow and Framer with a quiet, image-led layout, a filterable works grid and a dedicated process page.
