UI/UX Design for Decentralized Freelancing Platform MVP

a freelancer Web App platform that allows investors to create projects and developers to bid. The product vision was to create a perfect solution where competent and talented freelance developers can be hired for various projects.

The project's product vision was to create a platform that would allow clients to easily find and hire competent freelance developers, particularly in the field of blockchain tech. The platform aimed to overcome challenges such as the difficulty in finding talented developers on existing platforms, initial trust issues between parties, and the need for a third-party mediator to resolve disputes that may arise.

To achieve this vision, the team designed and developed a new platform, which included a vetting process for developers, an escrow payment system based on Bitcoin, real-time communication between clients and developers, and a mediation service provided by the platform admins. The platform's unique escrow system used a cryptographically verified public/private key process to establish trust between parties and show them the progress of payments at each step of the way.

The platform was designed with the user in mind, and a lot of effort was put into testing the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) for various aspects of the platform, including the developer application process, client project creation process, the escrow payments system, and real-time communications. The outcome of the project was a successful freelance platform that provides a safe and effective way for clients to hire freelance developers, where payments can be safely made or recovered, and a neutral third party can be summoned to help settle disputes if they arise.

Project plan and responsibilities overview

We started by researching the existing market tailored for freelancing platforms. After multiple forum reviews and questionnaires, we gathered 56 responses, primarily via social networks for the freelancers, such as reddit and fb groups. This data allowed us to paint a clearer picture of the issues freelancers and clients have to face daily when they cooperate with each other. This information provided us with enough information to build user profiles for further research.
