Pro Camera is Moment's mobile app that unlocks the full potential of smartphone's camera systems and pushes them even further when connected to additional hardware, like lenses and gimbals. I joined the team at Moment to take over product design duties on Pro Camera and launch a few sister apps.
The Pro Camera experience transforms smartphones into a device that more closely resembles a DSLR or a professional cinema camera. I worked on tightening up the viewfinder controls and introduced a range of new features like long exposure, camera presets, and hardware integrations for gear like gimbals and professional audio capture.
Where we landed
Moment's Pro Camera app has over +10 million active users, ranging from indie creators (MKBHD) to Hollywood filmmakers (Steven Soderberg & Zach Snyder). Pro Camera consistently ranks in the top 5 paid apps in the Photography category of the App Store.
