Self-initiated concept. Birinda is a sparkling kokum drink from India's Konkan coast, imagined launching in London. Indian drinks abroad usually lean on spice-market clichés; I wanted to avoid that.
Approach
I designed the wordmark and a kokum mark, then chose a "painted coast" packaging direction: hand-painted Konkan sunset scenes that I'm painting myself in oil. The can feels like a postcard from the coast, not a curry-house menu. I grew up on that coast, around Kumta and Honnavar, which shaped every choice.
Outcome
Wordmark, kokum mark, palette and can packaging. A portfolio piece testing how far personal craft can carry a beverage brand.
