Every store owner knows this one. an order gets fulfilled and then the “paperwork” starts. someone logs it in a sheet, someone updates the task, someone tells the team in Slack
Well, now do that after every single fulfillment. it’s boring, and it’s the first thing that gets skipped on a busy day. then the sheet says one thing, ClickUp says another, and nobody trusts either
that was this client. they needed every fulfilled Shopify order tracked across Google Sheets, ClickUp and Slack, and doing it by hand wasn’t holding up.
so I developed one Make scenario where a single event does all of it. an order gets fulfilled and Shopify triggers it. Make pulls the full order details, then checks a Make Data Store to see if it already has that record. After that it adds a row to Google Sheets and updates the matching ClickUp task through custom fields.
then it splits in 2. one branch posts the update in Slack. the other deletes the processed record from the data store, so the scenario cleans up after itself and nothing is left behind.
one event, 4 tools, no manual entry. the Sheet, the task and the team message always say the same thing.
that was the part I cared about most. nobody should have to remember to update 3 places.

same pattern works for any trigger: a sale, a status change, a new lead. one event, all your tools, one pass

One Shopify fulfillment triggers a Make automation that logs Sheets, updates ClickUp and pings Slack — 4 tools synced, zero manual entry.
