The AR project serves as the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for a comprehensive AR platform that enables the creation of intricate AR layouts on a large scale.

To create an intuitive and user-friendly interface that empowers users to easily create and customize immersive AR layouts, while also providing a seamless and engaging user experience throughout the design process.

In the UX stage of the design process, our primary goal was to ensure that the platform's functionality was thoroughly vetted and refined. We recognized that the platform's intended audience was not limited to AR professionals, but also included beginners and small businesses seeking to create AR layouts independently. As such, we prioritized creating a user experience that was intuitive and accessible for users of all skill levels. This involved a deep focus on user research, prototyping, and testing to identify pain points and areas for improvement, and to iterate on the platform's design until we arrived at a solution that met the needs of all users.

Transitioning from the UX phase, I moved into the UI phase of the project where I was responsible for designing the visual shell of the platform. Given the complexity of the interface, I approached the design with a minimalist mindset, striving to simplify and streamline the user experience wherever possible. Collaborating closely with clients, we made the decision to implement a dark mode design with a primary color palette featuring shades of purple. This color scheme effectively captured the brand identity of the project while also providing a sleek, modern feel to the overall design.

In my design process, I make sure to provide a comprehensive UI kit or design system for each project, tailored to the specific needs of the project at hand. This includes taking into account all states of UI elements, such as hover, active, and disabled states, and presenting them in the kit to ensure consistency throughout the platform. By providing a UI kit or design system, I am able to ensure that the design remains consistent and cohesive, regardless of the size or complexity of the project. This also enables developers to easily reference and implement design elements, resulting in a more efficient and streamlined development process.
