Deliveryman System (DMS) is a Courier Mobile App that helps Indomaret Courier & their supervisor to do their daily tasks. This product goes live on early 2021 and has contribute to 86% productivity increase of the courier.

Challenges, Approach, & Outcome

Challenge: To digitalize and improve the old courier management & task completion system. Approach: Identify how they usually do their works, simplify it, then create a design that make their work easier. Outcome: A high fidelity design based on research and understanding, and how it impacted our user after several months of usage.

Challenges: Outdated Workflow & Tools

Ideally the design research process consists of at least screening survey, user interviews, or focus group discussion. Due to limited time we only conduct the initial research by: User interview (12 delivery man) User interview (4 supervisor)

Approach: New Optimized Workflow

On the previous chapter, we already marked several activities that could be simplified or improved. We then calibrate and realigned these findings with what our user really concerned about:
We developed new work scenario based on solutions we’ve calibrated before.

Outcome: Helpful & Sensible Interfaces

New Dashboard.

From manually locating store & customer address, now they can quickly skim where & which address should they prioritize first. This order list are designed to be updated hourly so the Courier can always review the list before delivering them.

Processing The Deliveries

From carrying countless receipt and need to sign them, now our Courier just need to do some taps from their phone to process order.

Delivery Confirmation

For our courier, delivering a package is quite a challenge, that’s why we want to make it easier by lessen their burden in administrative work and help them communicate with the customers.
