Project Overview
In this project, created in collaboration with the creative agency Hype, I was tasked with producing a paradoxical and engaging explainer video for the new cryptocurrency exchange Etherex.
My primary role focused on creative execution and iterative refinement, implementing changes in alignment with the creative director’s vision and direct feedback from the dex team.

Pre-Production Process
Script & Narrative Framework
The provided script outlined token descriptions and approximate phrasing — defining what should be said and when, rather than locking the scenes themselves.
At its core, the decentralized exchange on the Ethereum network featured three tokens, each offering a different level of privileges.
Beyond this structure, the overall setting and visual interpretation were left to my creative direction, which allowed me to freely shape the scenes, pacing, and visual metaphors supporting the explanation.
Visual Direction
At the start of the project, supported by the Hype agency, there was already a strong conceptual base.
My role was to interpret the existing style, refine it, and establish a clear, cohesive visual direction for the explainer.
This included shaping a new visual identity for the characters, balancing a paradoxical tone with clarity and approachability.
World Building
Alongside this, I focused on creating the world itself — a vibrant rooftop plaza in a futuristic city, designed as a single, cohesive space where all dynamic events would unfold.
The visual style needed to be as realistic as possible rather than illustrated, while the overall tone of the video was intentionally paradoxical and humorous.
I designed a premium, high-end rooftop location on top of a modern skyscraper, framed by futuristic but restrained architecture — keeping it grounded and avoiding a heavy sci-fi look.
The rooftop space included an open-air bar with a barbecue zone, a pool and chill area, and an additional two-level restaurant building with a banquet hall, lobby, and supporting spaces.
This world-building made every scene feel logical and natural, which is essential when explaining complex concepts step by step inside a believable environment.
designed every detail — from costumes choices and diverse dinosaur characters based on their species, to the time-of-day progression, where all characters move through different locations, transitioning from sunset into night alongside the main Etherex narration.
Production Process
General Approach
To keep the storytelling cohesive and easy to follow, I structured the production in clear stages. First, I developed all locations, then moved on to character creation, and only after that proceeded shot by shot, reviewing and approving each frame with both parties.
Throughout this phase, I regularly shared rough and in-progress versions, as moving images communicate ideas far more clearly than static descriptions.
In parallel, I defined the technical approach and core models. For image generation, I chose Seedance for its high level of realism and its ability to work with multiple visual references — a key factor in maintaining visual consistency across the project.
Image Generation
During image generation, I relied heavily on custom environment references that I had built earlier, along with multiple prompt iterations.
Many scenes included several characters within a single frame, which is still challenging for AI models. In such cases, I refined strong outputs manually using Photoshop — adjusting clothing, adding or removing objects, correcting facial expressions, and fixing other visual defects.
This hands-on refinement was essential. Without it, the final video would not reach a high-quality, production-ready level.
Video Generation
The video pipeline itself became more layered. Since the project required realistic voice narration, I worked in passes: I used Google Veo3 to generate talking scenes, then processed the audio separately in ElevenLabs to create a clean, unified, and approved voice for the explanation.
All visual and audio elements were finally assembled in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Post-Production & Results
Once all shots were generated, I assembled the full sequence and delivered it to the Hype team, who then refined the pacing through several approval rounds with the client, finalized the edit, and passed it on to the marketing team.
The video was well received by the community and reached 60,000 views on X, meeting the expectations of all parties involved.
