My role

since 2021 - main lead product designer

in charge of overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from initial strategy development to user testing, UX design, prototyping, and final UI design.

Responsible for creating new features, and updates for the AI Mobile app.

I revamped the dashboard tool for reviewing car inspections.

I work alongside the development teams, including front-end, back-end, and data science, to bring ideas to fruition.

I conduct qualitative user research to obtain valuable insights and prioritise product development.

I design and maintain the design system.

The background

With the help of AI and computer analysis, users can remotely evaluate the condition of a car and receive an immediate report.

This application is designed as a white-label solution with customisable modular components, making it suitable for a wide range of use cases and meeting various business requirements.

Launch in April 2021, with Toyota Finance USNext release with KBC Group, Hertz US, Buggy, Rakuten Japan, and Sompo planned in 2022-2023.

How it works

The challenge

AI requires the user to capture their vehicle from a wide angle but also to make close-ups of the damage.

The design challenge is to bring an easy and intuitive experience to the user that takes into consideration the multiple technical constraints (environment not suitable like underground parking, lack of space, AI logic, limitation of web app)
