Overview

As Senior Designer at Imgur, I led the company’s pivotal brand redesign — transitioning from the iconic giraffe logo to the modern upvote symbol. The goal was to align the brand with its evolving audience and strengthen Imgur’s position as the leading platform for memes, GIFs, and internet culture.
My Role
Senior Product Designer — owned end-to-end creative direction, product UI updates, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, and leadership teams.
Process & Highlights
Defined the new brand identity rooted in community, simplicity, and playfulness.
Redesigned the visual system across web, mobile, and marketing channels.
Collaborated with developers to ensure seamless integration into the live product.
Created scalable guidelines for typography, iconography, and motion.
