A self-initiated website for Northlight, an invented private clinic in London. Custom design and build: 13 pages, written in English (UK).
The Brief
Northlight is an invented private clinic in Marylebone, London: private GP and specialist appointments, imaging and laboratory tests under one roof, and an Executive Health Assessment done in a single morning.
The reader is a self-pay patient or someone with private insurance. They want three answers quickly: what the clinic offers, what it costs and how soon they can be seen.
What I built
A specialties page in an accordion: what is done, who you see, the typical wait and the first-appointment price for self-pay patients.
A page for the Executive Health Assessment, where the morning from 7.30am to midday stays on screen and moves forward as you scroll.
A list of six doctors and a profile page for each, with a button to book with that doctor.
Booking in five steps: type of appointment, doctor, date and time, patient details (self-pay or insured) and confirmation.
Patient information: privacy notice, booking terms, cookies and complaints, the pages a UK patient expects to find.
Design Decisions
Calm and precise rather than “wellness”: the copy talks about tests, time, results and who you will see. Dark and light bands, thin rules and a single soft green accent.
British spelling, prices in pounds and UK time formats throughout. No promised outcomes and no patient testimonials about results, in line with the advertising rules for healthcare in the UK.
If you run a clinic
Patients compare clinics before they pick up the phone. A clinic website has to show what you offer, what it costs and how to book, without making anyone hunt for it. I design and build clinic websites from scratch, with booking flows that read clearly on a phone.
