🔍 Overview
✦ About Ciento
Ciento is a private membership platform, which allows ambassadors – business owners or people with a wide network of contacts – to create memberships, and leverage their personal networks to connect members with affiliate businesses through exclusive offers.
✦ Project goal
Design a web application that could support four user roles – Admin, Ambassador, Affiliate, and Member – with desktop and mobile versions, ensuring that each role had the tools and interface needed to carry out their tasks efficiently.
📁 Process
Exploration: We dived deep into client's ideas, learning about their vision for the app and generating ideas on how to bring their concept to life.
Structure: We meticulously crafted information architecture of the app for all user types, and put together detailed userflows to make sure every detail and interaction has it's place and fills purpose.
Design: Given the tight time constraints, we opted to use a ready-made design system to streamline the UI design process while maintaining high quality.
🎨 Design
⭐ Ambassadors
Ambassadors are key drivers of the platform and play a cruicial role in building the community. They have the ability to create their own memberships and invite new members and affiliates to join.
✦ Create Memberships
Ambassadors must submit an application to create a membership, providing details such as the membership’s name, description, location, and payment options. Once the admin approves the application, the ambassador can start inviting affiliates and members.
✦ Manage offers
Ambassadors can create offers by inviting affiliates to their membership. Offers typically include discounts or special deals associated with the affiliate's business, such as vouchers or tickets.
✦ Revenue & Analytics
Ambassadors can track their revenue in the Wallet, where they view transactions and withdraw earnings. While their Dashboard offers insights into membership performance and offer redemptions, helping optimize their revenue strategies.

👥 Members
Members are people in ambassador's network or their clients, who are invited to join the membership by personal invitation via SMS or email.
Members can view their active memberships and the offers available to them. To redeem an offer, members visit the affiliate's location and present a QR code for the affiliate to scan.
💼 Affiliates
Affiliates are businesses or service providers who join the memberships by ambassador's invitation and offer discounts or other benefits in exchange for promotion.
Affiliates benefit from increased visibility and customer engagement, tracking their offer performance through detailed analytics provided on their dashboard and offer's page.
✦ Offer validation & security
When a member redeems an offer at an affiliate’s location, the affiliate scans the member’s QR code to validate the offer. For offers requiring verification, the affiliate can also confirm whether the member has completed an ID verification process.
📊 Admins
Admins are Ciento employees who oversee and manage activity on the platform.
Ciento admin users have access to a comprehensive dashboard that allows them to monitor platform operations effectively. It provides detailed insights into user activity, membership management, affiliate engagement, and overall financial performance.
✅ Outcome
The result was a user-friendly platform that streamlined the interactions between ambassadors, affiliates, and members. Each role had a distinct yet cohesive experience, ensuring that they could effortlessly complete their tasks within the platform.
