Pigzbe (iOS & Android App Design)

I created a product to help children learn the financial skills they need to thrive in a digital future. We know that the world is changing, and it was our mission to give families the tools they need, to enable their children to become financially knowledgeable, confident and independent.

What

Pigzbe - an award winning pocket money app and connected piggy-bank for a generation of kids growing up with digital money.

Today’s kids live in a fast changing financial world. Digital money, contactless payments, in-app purchases and cryptocurrency are all things they need help to understand.

Pigzbe was a friendly, tangible financial assistant that taught children the principles of modern money in an exciting and safe system that harnesses children’s natural drive to learn through self-correcting, practical experimentation.

My role - Director of UX & Design (part of the leadership team). I joined as one of the first employees. I was integral in defining the vision, building the team, running research, creating the entire product, testing, launching and iterating.
