They approached me as a web designer to develop a new website that would help them automate their booking process, reach a wider audience, and build trust with potential clients.

Their manual booking process was cumbersome and time-consuming, limiting their ability to serve their clients efficiently. They also lacked a website, which made it difficult for them to attract international clients. Lastly, their dependence on social media platforms made their business vulnerable to changes in Facebook and Instagram algorithms or being shadow banned.

Research and Discovery

This was followed by a competitor analysis of other tour and travel agencies' websites, reviewing industry trends, and identifying best practices for web design. To ensure the website meets the needs of the target audience, key user personas were identified, and usability testing was conducted. This research helped create a website that is tailored to the needs of the client and their audience and incorporates design elements, features, and functionality that are modern and user-friendly.

Approach to design

The design approach for this website involves a mix of template and custom design elements. To achieve the desired look and feel, certain pages were created using templates while others were fully customized. The website primarily features the colors black and red, which both match the client's branding and create a clear visual separation between different sections of the website.

Development and Implementation

As the designer for the Perfect Strangers Safaris website project, I utilized my expertise in web development to create a custom website that effectively represents the brand and meets the needs of its users. I chose to build the website on WordPress and used the Elementor Page Builder to create a visually stunning and functional design. To further tailor the website to the client's needs, I added a new post type and custom code to create the unique Packages pages, showcasing the various tour packages offered by the client. My focus on user experience and attention to detail ensured a seamless development and implementation process, resulting in a final product that exceeded the client's expectations.

Results
