Pays | Trust-Building Onboarding in Fintech

Pays is a concept project exploring how thoughtful onboarding flows can build trust, clarity, and retention in fintech and crypto products.

The idea was inspired by a past experience where sign-up felt overwhelming and unstructured. I wanted to design something that feels the opposite — simple, secure, and user-led.

Drawing from the structure and tone of platforms like MoonPay, I focused on communicating trust through clean UI, clear microcopy, and intentional interaction design. Every screen — from the welcome page to secure verification — was built to reduce friction while meeting user expectations for safety, compliance, and transparency.

The result is a calm, conversion-focused onboarding experience designed to increase user confidence, reduce drop-off, and set the tone for long-term product adoption.
