Jewellery Product Descriptions

This project was completed as a test for the client who was struggling to come up with highly-converting product descriptions for their jewellery business after recently switching to the e-commerce space. The client also wanted their business to show when potential buyers were browsing the internet, so I worked on competitor research within their product niche and ensured the use of SEO keywords throughout both the product descriptions and titles.

Timeline: 1 day (5 product descriptions) Budget: $40 (aud) Request: "I am in desperate need, my product descriptions are more like blunt force trauma, basic info only and I really dislike writing product descriptions. My target market was originally women 35-50 years of age, although that seems to have changed to 40-60+. I was selling mostly through craft markets but I can no longer do those so I really need to concentrate more on my online shops"

Business Owner & Seller

The client received a word document with all written descriptions as well as a few tailored suggestions for their products, site and presentation following my competitor research. This client already had some product names too, but I was also able to provide a few additional and creative names as I wanted to ensure my client was successful selling on the sites they had chosen.

In addition, the client and I communicated to ensure I was able to understand the full product they had created, knowing the materials used and how to care for them allowed me to create a fully comprehensive description.
