Copy for New Website Build

This project involved the creation of over 10 pages of copy for the new website of an annual sporting event.

• FAQ's



What makes this project special?

In addition to the above regular pages, there were a few tailored pages for prospective participants as the event organisers had identified that they were not attracting new participants as it was hard for new people to gain an insight into the culture and feel of the event. As a remedy for this, two comprehensive documents that gave prospective event participants all the information that they required to make a decision about their event attendance were created and added to the website under 'participant information'

The brief was to keep the writing style in a conversational tone, that relayed this event as a 'family' event. As the organisation running this event was a governement department, there was a balance between formal and informal tones that needed to be achieved in order to gain approval for publishing.
