Background
SideRoad Consulting specializes in helping companies navigate complex HR initiatives with precision. They offer services in HR project management, advisory and staff augmentation, and system configuration. The client needed a modern, engaging, and strategic website to reflect their expertise and help potential clients quickly understand the value they provide.

The Challenge
SideRoad faced three main challenges:
Communicating Complex Services Simply – Their offerings are nuanced and strategic, and required clear, non-jargon-heavy explanations.
Building Trust Quickly – Since SideRoad is often brought in during high-stakes moments, it was critical to immediately establish credibility and approachability.
Optimizing for Conversion – The site needed to funnel users toward making contact without overwhelming them with information.
Design Objectives
Develop a visually engaging and strategic layout that echoes the idea of “taking the smarter route.”
Organize content to clearly explain service areas and highlight the benefits of SideRoad’s approach.
Ensure a user-centric experience with strong calls-to-action and clear next steps.

Using Figma, I designed a responsive website that brings SideRoad’s brand and mission to life:
1. The Journey
The homepage opens with a bold image of a mountain road, symbolizing strategic direction and confident navigation. This aligns perfectly with the brand’s promise to guide clients through complex HR projects.
2. Clear Service Breakdown
I structured the services section into three digestible blocks:
HR Project Management
Advisory & Staff Augmentation
HR System Config & Build
Each block includes a short summary and a CTA button, making it easy for users to understand and take action.
3. Trust-Building Elements
The mid-page group photo evokes teamwork and friendliness.
A global map visual reinforces SideRoad’s reach and adaptability.
FAQs answer common objections and show empathy for client challenges.
4. Calls to Action
Throughout the site, I placed clear “Get in Touch” and “Let’s Go” buttons to encourage inquiries without hard-selling. The yellow CTA section at the bottom is designed to leave a lasting impression and motivate users to act.
