Levi's R approached us with a problem. They wanted to create a new line of sustainable
denim products that would appeal to environmentally conscious consumers.
However, they were struggling to find a textile solution that met their high
standards for both sustainability and quality.
We knew that this was a common issue in the fashion industry. Many brands
want to move towards more sustainable practices, but they often struggle to
find suppliers who can provide materials that meet their needs. We saw an
opportunity to use our expertise in textiles to help Levi's R overcome this challenge.
Solution
We worked closely with Levi's R to understand their specific requirements
for the new denim line. Based on our discussions, we recommended using a blend
of organic cotton and recycled polyester as the primary material for the
products.
To ensure that the fabric met Levi's R's sustainability goals, we sourced
the organic cotton from a certified fair trade supplier and the recycled
polyester from post-consumer plastic bottles. We also used our 3d knitting
technology and eco-friendly dyeing processes
and minimized water usage during production.
Impact
Reduced carbon footprint by 30 %
Increased sales due to consumer demand for sustainable
products
My role
Sourced materials and oversaw production process
Ensured that sustainability goals were met
Liaised with Levi's R to understand their
requirements and provide updates on progress
Oversaw project timeline and

Utilizing 3D knit technology allows these
garments to be knitted, reducing the number of material pieces and seams.
This new manufacturing method not only increases comfort but it also
minimizes material waste.
