YAT CLOUD 35 – A Digital Experience for an Early NFT Project
Back in 2020, I worked on the YAT CLOUD 35 website—an experimental NFT project that aimed to combine visual art, blockchain technology, and interactive storytelling. I led the entire front-end build using Webflow, and also handled UI/UX design in Figma along with custom interactions through JavaScript.
The challenge was to design a site that felt both futuristic and accessible—something that could match the energy of the NFT space at the time, but still provide a smooth and engaging experience for users who might be new to the concept. I crafted an interface that allowed visitors to explore the 35 unique NFT pieces in an interactive gallery-style layout, with subtle animations and hover effects to bring the visuals to life. Each NFT was tied into the narrative, and the site helped build a sense of mystery and exclusivity around the collection.
The project was very much a product of its time—part art, part experiment—and it gave me the chance to blend creative design with more technical development work. It also pushed the boundaries of what could be done within Webflow by layering in custom JavaScript for dynamic behaviors and transitions that weren’t natively supported at the time.
Overall, the YAT CLOUD 35 site was a great example of using design and tech to tell a story and build hype around a digital drop, and it remains one of my favorite projects from the early NFT wave.
