Building a brand around a smarter way to learn

UniWise is an education technology platform designed to make learning and academic support more accessible, useful and intuitive for students.
The challenge was to create a brand that could communicate the product's intelligence without feeling overly technical or corporate. It needed credibility, but it also needed to feel approachable to the people actually using it.

The challenge

Like many early-stage technology companies, UniWise had a product and an idea of where it wanted to go, but needed a much stronger way of presenting itself to the market.
The brand had to work across different audiences and touchpoints while creating a recognisable identity that could grow with the business.
This wasn't simply about designing a logo. We needed to establish the strategic and visual foundations that would determine how UniWise looked, communicated and behaved as a brand.

What we changed

We started by clarifying the positioning and identifying what UniWise needed to stand for in an increasingly crowded education and technology landscape.
From there, we developed the creative direction and translated the strategy into a distinctive visual language.
The identity balanced technology with humanity: contemporary enough to belong in a digital product environment, but accessible and engaging rather than cold or overly technical.
Typography, colour, imagery and graphic elements were developed as parts of one system rather than individual design decisions.

From strategy to identity

Once we established the strategic direction, we built the visual identity and the practical system needed to bring it to life.
The work covered brand positioning and creative direction, visual identity, typography, colour, graphic language and the core applications needed to create a consistent presence across digital touchpoints.
The result was a flexible brand system that gave UniWise a much stronger foundation for communicating the product and growing the business.

The result

UniWise emerged with a clearer and more cohesive identity — one that better connected the intelligence of the technology with the experience it wanted to create for its users.
Rather than simply giving the company a new look, the work created a visual and strategic foundation UniWise could continue building on as the product and business evolved.
