Turning complexity into a clear investment story

Tokenovate is a fintech company building infrastructure to automate post-trade processes in capital markets. Its technology brings together financial-market standards, automation and tokenisation to reduce the complexity, cost and operational risk associated with traditional post-trade processes.
As the company prepared for its Series A, the challenge wasn't a lack of substance. It was the opposite.
Tokenovate operates in a highly technical market, with a sophisticated proposition and multiple layers to the story. The challenge was turning all of that complexity into an investment case that could be understood quickly without losing the credibility behind the business.

The challenge

The existing story contained the right ingredients, but too many ideas were competing for attention.
We needed to establish a much clearer narrative hierarchy: the problem Tokenovate was solving, why it mattered now, how the platform addressed it, the size of the commercial opportunity, what made the company different and why it was positioned to win.
This wasn't simply a design exercise. Before redesigning the slides, we went back to the investment case itself.

What we changed

We rebuilt the narrative around the questions an investor needed answered.
Complex technical information was simplified and reorganised. The market opportunity and commercial story were brought forward. Individual slides were given clearer jobs within the overall narrative, and unnecessary detail was removed or pushed into supporting material.
The objective throughout was simple: make the business easier to understand without making the business itself appear simple.

From narrative to deck

Once the story was established, we translated it into a complete investor presentation.
That included the narrative and deck structure, content development and editing, information hierarchy, visual storytelling and final presentation design.
The result was a more focused Series A deck designed to communicate the investment opportunity quickly while retaining the depth expected from a sophisticated capital-markets business.

The result

The finished deck gave Tokenovate a clearer, more coherent way to present the company to investors and put the strongest elements of the investment case at the centre of the story.
As Gunnar Larsén, CMO at Tokenovate, put it:
“Manuel helped us sharpen the pitch language needed to capture investor attention. He found the groove of our story, surfaced angles we had missed and turned them into a stronger, more focused deck, with excellent visuals.”
