Figma to Framer Build for a Multi-Location Sports Brand Under a Fixed Holiday Deadline
Project Overview
PadelHub is a UK-based padel sports brand operating multiple locations. The client, via a branding agency, required a full Framer website built from finalized Figma designs under extreme time pressure before the Christmas shutdown.
The project included a marketing website with multiple static and dynamic-style pages, blog structure, location-specific pages, third-party integrations, and responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile. The shop and Stripe checkout were planned but later deferred due to missing product data from the end client.
Timeline constraint. Less than two weeks to reach a client-review-ready state.
The Challenge and My Role
Challenges:
Very tight deadline driven by client pressure to launch before Christmas
Complex navigation and layout requirements with a centered logo and expanding menu items
Multiple location pages with shared layouts but different content and booking links
Continuous feedback loops from both agency and end client
Scope shifts mid-project, especially around blog pagination, components, and mobile behavior
Incomplete inputs for shop and Stripe integration, forcing partial delivery
Heavy mobile responsiveness issues identified late in the process
My Role:
Sole Framer developer responsible for translating Figma designs into a production-ready Framer site
Defined and validated technical flows for booking links, HubSpot forms, CMS vs static structure, and Stripe checkout logic
Built all pages, navigation systems, and layouts directly in Framer
Managed responsive behavior across desktop, tablet, mobile, and large screens
Flagged technical constraints early when designs conflicted with Framer behavior
Worked extended hours, including weekends, to meet deadline expectations
This was execution-heavy work, not visual design. My responsibility was correctness, structure, and delivery under pressure.
3) What I Delivered
Full Figma-to-Framer implementation of approximately 10 pages
Homepage, Play, Membership, Corporate, Blog, Blog Inner Pages, Locations, Privacy and Policy pages
Multi-location page system with duplicated, scalable layouts tied to location-specific booking links
Blog structure with pagination and inner pages
Navigation system with centered logo and expandable menu logic
Desktop-first build with tablet and mobile responsiveness
HubSpot form integration support and booking app link logic
Stripe checkout flow prepared and structurally implemented, later deferred by mutual agreement
Continuous iteration based on agency and end-client feedback
Transfer of the final build back to the client’s Framer workspace
All development was done directly in Framer, with live preview links shared throughout for transparency.
4) Outcome
The agency successfully presented the site to their end client before the holiday deadline
Core pages were approved for desktop and prepared for launch
Mobile issues were identified, documented, and actively resolved in collaboration with the agency
The client expressed satisfaction with progress and continued collaboration into January
The agency requested additional Framer support for their own internal website afterward
Despite time pressure, shifting scope, and late feedback cycles, the project reached a launch-ready state and established an ongoing working relationship.
