Cypress Garden Skis wanted an updated logo and web/mobile product. This design project was completed for an online presence for customers to view the products of Cypress Garden Skis.
Cypress Garden Skis was looking for a clean look and feel for their logo, preserving a retro look. This was to be added to a new website/mobile, connecting to an Airbnb business.
What We Did
For six weeks I designed the logo, logo marks and web/mobile site for Cypress Garden Skis. Using a questionnaire first, and then consultation, the initial perspective was to gain an understanding of Cypress Garden Skis. After we gathered all of the assets needed the design process began.
Who is The Client
Cypress Garden Skis is a water ski lodge. Cypress Garden Skis started in the 70’s, providing fun and community for people on the water.
The Goal for Working Together
To create a clean, retro logo and a web/mobile site. The goal is for Cypress Garden Skis to have a clean look and feel for their brand while keeping their retro look. This also meant for the website/mobile site to have the same consistency of visuals reflecting their message.
Cypress Garden Skis' end goal is to integrate their website/mobile, with Airbnb business, providing a new service for people looking to stay for more than a single day.
The Strategy Process
We start with a questionnaire, allowing the client to fill out open ended questions, helping both parties to understand expectations. Next, consultation occurred. This was to talk through the questionnaire, the process of developing a logo, web/mobile design, and timeline.
